Replacement · New build
Building an addition, garage or new home? New-construction windows have a nailing fin that integrates into the framing and weather barrier for a fully sealed, code-correct install.
Why it matters
New-construction windows fasten through a nailing fin into the wall framing before the siding or brick goes on, which lets the fin lap correctly with the house wrap and flashing tape. Done in the right order, that creates a continuous drainage plane and air seal around the whole window — water sheds to the outside and the deep-cold wind stays out of the stud bay. It is the difference between a window sealed into the wall and one merely stuffed into a hole.
Sequencing is everything on a new build, so we coordinate with your framer and cladding schedule. The window goes in after the wall is sheathed and wrapped but before siding, the fin is taped in a shingle-lap pattern, and the interior gets a proper backer-rod-and-foam air seal — not just a bead of caulk. Get that order wrong and you get leaks and callbacks two winters later; get it right and the opening never gives you trouble.
This is the approach for additions, garages, rebuilds and new homes — any time the wall is open to the framing. If your walls are already finished and you are simply swapping old units, a retrofit or full-frame replacement is the right path instead, and we will tell you which one your project needs.
How it works
Call, text or use the form. We book a free in-home visit — no obligation, no high-pressure sales table.
We measure every opening, check the frames and sills for rot or water damage, and walk through material, style and glass options in plain language.
Line-item quote with the window line, glass package, U-factor, warranty and haul-away on one page. Financing attached when you want it.
Drop cloths, boot covers and a full air-seal on every unit. Old windows hauled away and a walkthrough of your new windows plus warranty registration.
What you get
We coordinate with your build schedule and install to code — proper flashing, a taped nailing fin and a full interior air-seal — so the envelope is tight from day one and passes inspection without a fuss. Our crews work alongside your builder, not around them, and we hit the window stage on time so the trades behind us are not held up.
The written quote covers the windows, the flashing materials and the install, with the glass package and U-factor spelled out per opening — so you can hand it to your builder or lender and there are no supply-extra surprises mid-build. Every window still carries the same written frame-and-glass warranty we put on a replacement job.
