Can you fix my existing screen frames?

Usually, yes — if the frame is straight and sound, we simply re-mesh it with fresh screen material, which is the quickest and cheapest option. Frames that are badly bent, corroded or broken at the corners can be rebuilt to the same size so they fit your window properly again. Either way you keep matching screens across the house rather than a mismatched new one here and there. We will tell you at a glance whether a frame is worth re-meshing or better rebuilt, and quote the small cost up front.

Do you make new screens?

Yes — we build new screens custom to fit your windows, whether you are missing one, want spares, or are outfitting new windows we install. You can choose the mesh to suit the spot: standard fibreglass for general use, pet-resistant mesh that stands up to claws and leaning, or solar-shading mesh that knocks down glare and heat on south- and west-facing windows. We measure each opening so the screen fits snug and slides in and out cleanly, and match the frame colour to your windows.

Re-meshing a sound frame is inexpensive — it is one of the most affordable repairs we offer — and the exact price depends on the size of the screen and the mesh type you choose, with pet-resistant and solar mesh costing a little more than standard. Building a new frame from scratch costs more than re-meshing an existing one but is still a small job. We quote the price up front before doing the work, and because screens are quick, they are easy and economical to bundle with any other window service while we are on site.
